Kismas

Originating from Lithuania, Kismas is a design studio that reimagines unexpected materials, transforming them into captivating lighting objects.

Its universe draws inspiration from the glass blocks of the 1970s and 1980s, classics of brutalist architecture, which the studio brings back into the present with elegance and boldness. The collections revolve around two major lines — the Vintage Line, built around reclaimed glass blocks marked by the passage of time, and the Modern Line, minimalist and new, yet always sculptural. Each lamp is conceived as both a lighting piece and a furniture object in its own right.

The brand embraces a strong vision: to make “change” (kismas in Lithuanian) a creative principle — giving materials a second life, generating atmosphere, and inviting contemplation. Kismas speaks to those who see lighting as more than a function: an aesthetic choice, a marker of space, and a union between architectural heritage and contemporary design.
