OROS is a young French design house founded in 2015 by Laure Amoros, rooted in a family story and a deep passion for wood. The project was born from a desire to preserve traditional craftsmanship, inspired by her father’s woodworking atelier, and to celebrate local artisanal techniques.
OROS designs and publishes everyday objects, furniture, and limited-edition pieces crafted in France by a variety of artisans. Its approach is grounded in local, responsible, and small-scale production, highlighting regional wood species. The design is characterised by contemporary lines and a minimalist aesthetic, always respectful of the material itself.
The brand also collaborates with external designers and curates selections of handcrafted pieces around specific themes, celebrating the diversity of wood-related craftsmanship.
