Peony Candle

Their master glassblower works near Antibes. He hand-blows each container, an ancient and patient craft.

The glass thus created is adorned with La Romaine Editions' signature pendants, those tiny lights that make the flame shimmer.

Inside, a scented vegetable wax.

• Verveine des Baronnies. Lively, herbaceous, a little wild, like a handful of leaves crumpled between the fingers.
• Fleur d'Oranger (Orange Blossom). White, powdery, slightly intoxicating, like an Andalusian garden in May.
• Tilleul du Lubéron (Linden from the Luberon). Soft, shady, like an endless afternoon.
• Figuier de la Madrague (Fig Tree from La Madrague). Green, milky, almost sweet, like the thick shade of a fig tree in mid-August.

When the flame dies out, the object remains, a vase for your cut flowers, or a pen pot on a desk. A second life, discreet and beautiful.
